	The Course
	The entire course is around the centre of the historic town of Newport, a bustling market town in rural Shropshire. There is plenty opportunity for spectators to get a close up view of the riders. Generally the whole course is lined with cheering spectators so there is a really atmosphere right round the circuit which is floodlit throughout its entirely length.

	The Racers start in the High Street, then proceed down the High Street passing the Church on right, then making a swing sharp right and go up St. Mary's Street (cobbles) back passed the Church and back onto High Street.



	Swing sharp left and immediately right around Mini Island. Continue past the Barley Mow to the Shakespeare Inn and turn left around 'Jones and Ferriday' corner into Avenue Road. Turn right into Avenue Road South, right at the Bowling green into Granville Avenue and then right to rejoin Upper Bar/High Street at the Cottage Hospital to complete the lap. This course is made up of fast straights, with complex turns giving the riders the opportunity to show off their speed and skill and because all of the route is with in Newport centre, there is plenty of opportunity of the spectators to see the action.
